Address: Shanghai Pudong Lujiazui Riverside Avenue, the audience entrance in the middle of the channel of the Silver City Road Fai Building, No. 9 and No. 99, near South Pudong Road

The Midi Festival is the legendary rock and electronic music festival of China, started back in 2000 by the Midi School of Music. It is THE event of the year for underground and high quality music lovers interested in getting in touch with the real scene of music in China.

Since January 2012, Midi received hundreds of band applications over a two-month time period. Midi Organizing Committee appreciates the strong support and love of music from fans and listened to each piece of work submitted, and as always, is committed to bringing more original and excellent bands to Midi.

This coming October 27th, Midi and Shanghai will be hosting their first ever Electronic Music Festival.

Dress up to get down! This Halloween Weekend, get freaky in your wildest costumes as Midi embraces the spooky side of things.

Lujiazui riverside, in a park and surrounded by Shanghai’s glowing superstructures, Midi is putting the spotlight on ‘going green‘ and building the awareness of PM 2.5. In cooperation with international green organization -GREEN DRINKS (www.greendrinkschina.org). This festival will provide an interactive promotion of green concepts, art and music. Midi is taking concrete actions to walk the talk, recycle reduce and reuse.

There will be 3 stages featuring all genres of Electric Dance Music. The bass stage will be blowing your face off with high energy electro, dubstep, drumstep and D&B.

Break it down and roll up at the Hip-Hop, reggae, Moombahton, and Trap stage.

Along the riverbed join the monster mash as party goers get the groove on at the traditional EDM stage with techno, house, minimal and trance.

The lineup will include 28 groups of Chinese and foreign DJs, music producers, and performers.

Live art painting, parkour, skateboarding and fire jugglers will be lighting up the spot from start to finish.

The infamous production teams of Caffeine Culture from the United States is getting involved to create an inspiring visual journey ofShanghai city, using 3D visual projection mapping and acrobatic performers

Dining will include local organic food & beverages, cuisine from east to west, ice cream, hard liqueur and Heineken.
